My Darling Hanna…you are my treasure. What can a mother possibly say in front of all these people that love and care for you this much…without falling apart.

I want you to know that you are my greatest joy in life…my first and greatest pleasure and of course my first child…my first experience of life forming and growing inside my own body. I will never forget every single moment of YOU. You are also going to be my greatest sadness…because you left us so soon. I know where you are and I am at peace with that. I know you have the best babysitter a mother could ask for. And he’s free to boot! I know how much you loved the Lord Hanna and I know you understood about Jesus and what he stood for. I will never forget how you cried this Easter when I told you Jesus died for our sins and you said you didn’t want him to die for you and I said how it was too late and that he died for all of us…because he loves us all so much.

Your heart, soul and compassion for people was too much for this world…I am so proud of your heart and what you could comprehend at your tender age and what you stood for honey…I am so proud to call you my daughter…you are more…much more than I could have ever dreamed of having in a daughter.

It is this amazing pride and love for you that will keep me strong and keep me going until I can join up with you in heaven. I cannot wait to be with you…it is so hard to be without you…but I’ve got work to do…till every single star up in the heaven knows that I belong with you. I will keep going on for you. I will not give up on you honey.

I will look after your brother and we will celebrate your life and keep you alive within us. I am just so darn proud of you sweetheart…we can do this…we will do this…your life will impact the world in some form and I just want to tell you that all you need to worry about is playing and singing and doing your art and touching lives as you know so well how to do…I miss you terribly but I will be ok…I will be strong…I am your mother now and forever and don’t you ever forget that. I love you…to the moon and back baby! To the moon and back!

Today we released the butterfly we know as Hanna ~ we released her to her Lord and Savior. May her short presence on earth be honored by continuing her journey and dream with love and peace. Godspeed baby girl.

Hanna’s Legacy (4/19/09)

Hanna Touches Us All

Hanna continues her journey today with the successful donation of her heart, liver and both kidney’s. She continues to give back to this world by saving lives, bringing joy and laughter to others. We are blessed to have had our Hanna for these brief but joyous years and are comforted in knowing her legacy lives on.

Today Hanna and her dream were highlighted in the Daily Inter Lake News ~ we hope this story allows others to see Hanna as she was and IS ~ a giving soul.

Hanna’s Memorial is Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m. at the Kalispell Christian Center; a reception will follow immediately after.

Hanna’s family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and kindness.

Hanna the Angel

It is with profound sadness that we post the loss of our beloved Hanna.

On Friday, April 17, 2009 Hanna went home to be with her Lord and Savior and Heaven has a new angel. In the true spirit befitting this angel, Hanna is an organ donor and will continue to touch and save the lives of many – exactly as she touched us already.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. at the Kalispell Christian Center with a reception immediately following.

Hanna’s family, Robin, Nigel and Bayden are grateful for the outpouring of love from their family and community ~ your kindness and generosity is appreciated.
